Ray has over 20 years of experience in audit and assurance, primarily serving clients in Hong Kong, Mainland China, U.S., and Singapore. He has been based in Deloitte’s Guangzhou office since 2013, following his upbringing and education in Hong Kong.
In his current role, he serves as Deputy Audit Leader for Deloitte’s Southern Region and was used to be Audit National Talent Leader for Deloitte, reflecting his leadership responsibilities within the firm’s audit practice. He has overseen audit engagements for listed public companies, state-owned enterprises, and multinational corporations across sectors such as telecommunications, e-commerce, technology, advanced manufacturing, logistics, and life sciences etc.
He has led cross-regional projects linking the Greater Bay Area with key cities including Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu. Additionally, he was a member of the Deloitte China Advisory Council for FY21 and FY22, where he provided independent inputs to the CEO on firm governance and strategic matters, contributing to organizational oversight from an advisory capacity.
