Mr. Gu, born in 1972, native of Siyang, Jiangsu, Han ethnicity, member of the Communist Party of China. Graduated from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics with a Doctorate in Management. Senior Accountant, Fellow of ACCA (FCCA). Currently holds the positions of Chief Investment & Finance Officer of Shanghai Industrial Investment (Group) Co., Ltd., Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Shanghai Industrial Holdings Limited, and Executive Director & President of SIIC Capital Management Co., Ltd.
He began his career at Shanghai GM in 1997, joined SAIC Motor in 2001, and subsequently held positions such as Executive Director of the Capital Operation Department, Executive Director of the Finance Department, and Chief Financial Officer at SAIC Motor, concurrently serving as responsible person for several subsidiaries. In 2017, he co-founded Aiways and served as its CEO. In 2020, he transitioned to the role of Chief Investment & Finance Officer at Bailian Group and joined SIIC in his current roles in 2024. His professional experience covers financial management, capital operations, and corporate governance, having led numerous notable industry M&As, restructurings, and equity investment cases. He currently serves as Vice President of the Shanghai Modern Service Industry Federation.
Mr. Gu's career spans foreign-funded enterprises, state-owned enterprises, listed companies, and startups, possessing over 20 years of experience in financial management financial management, enterprise management, industrial capital operation, equity investment, and corporate governance. He has long served as senior executive in several large enterprise groups, overseeing finance, investment, and financial business sectors. He has led and participated in many well-known M&A deals, equity investments, corporate restructurings, integrations, and company listings/financings. During his entrepreneurial period, he built a new energy vehicle manufacturer from scratch, establishing the entire enterprise management process encompassing product R&D, supply chain management, and factory operations management operations management.
